Friends of the Libraries
The Friends of the Libraries at Temple University support the acquisition and operation of the libraries as well as promote awareness of and interest in the library.
Private funds are vital in the purchase of books and services. Gifts from Friends also underwrite exhibitions, acquisitions, and preservation of rare and significant collections that benefit both Temple and the outside community-at-large.
Friends of the Libraries enjoy many benefits including a borrowing card, access to all our online resources from computers in our libraries, bi-annual newsletters, and invitations to special programs.

Temple Alumni
As an alumnus of Temple University your relationship with the University Libraries continues after you graduate. The Temple University Libraries offer a range of services to alumni. Among our most popular services is providing borrowing privileges to those alumni who wish to continue using the book collection. For a nominal $10 annual fee alumni can obtain a library borrower’s card. When visiting the campus, alumni may also continue to use the many information databases made available to students. Reference librarians are available to help alumni with research questions and advice on choosing appropriate information resources.
