Introducing MultiSearch

Welcome to the Next Generation of Library Research

The Temple University Libraries offer access to hundreds of different databases. Choosing the right one can be a challenge. MultiSearch is a solution.

Instead of using one database at a time, MultiSearch allows you to search across a few or many databases using one simple interface. It provides citations and abstracts as well as linking opportunities to full-text articles, e-books and other resources.

Use MultiSearch now.

If you have questions please Ask A Librarian or call the Reference Desk at 215-204-8212.

Choosing Your Databases

Results Screens

Review Results: clicking on an article from the results list will open a new window that locates the article in its native database (e.g., ABI/Inform). The original MultiSearch result is still available in the other window.

Sort By: These links allow you to sort your search results by publication date, title, author, or source. If your results contain publication dates, they will be automatically sorted by date unless you choose another sort option.

Deduplication: When a search finds duplicate results, you will see a "Duplicate Records" link. Only one record will be shown with a link to the others. When you click on the Duplicate Records link, you will see a new page with all of the duplicate results listed.
