Abstract
Dance Advance provides support, in the form of annual financial grants, to dance organizations in the Philadelphia area.
Historical Note
Dance Advance was founded by The Pew Charitable Trusts in 1993 to provide financial support to dance artists, organizations, and educational training programs in southeastern Pennsylvania.
The purpose of the annual financial grants is to fund diverse dance projects, provide professional development opportunities for dancers, and enhance dance programming in the Philadelphia area.
Collection Overview
The collection contains programs and publicity, videotapes, and posters for the projects and performances of Dance Advance grant recipients. Dance Advance organizational materials are limited to scattered grant application guidelines.
The programs and publicity are arranged alphabetically. The original order, maintained by the creator, cannot be confirmed.
