Description of Collection

Collection contains administrative records, financial records, membership records, publications and conference proceedings, and correspondence of the Tile Layers' Union Local 6. Photographs contain 93 photographs, mostly unidentified, usually of group activities. Mostly images of union dinners, conferences, and conventions. One photograph shows a group of workers in the windows of a building under construction, possibly the Philadelphia Art Museum. Photographers include Bell Photographers, John B. Kelley, Martinez Studios, Frank Rogers & Son, Schutz, Standard Photo Service, John A. Tenschert, and Weintraub Photo.
