The Louise and James Bush-Brown Horticulture and Landscape Gardening Collection
represents the personal library of the noted Director and faculty member of the Pennsylvania
School of Horticulture for women (now Temple University Ambler) and the author of America's
Garden Book. The Collection contains extensive examples of herbals from the fifteenth
through the nineteenth centuries and books on gardening, landscape gardening and animal husbandry.
Books and authors include Gart der Gesundheit, Leonard Fuchs, William Turner, Hieronymous Bock, Hieronymus Brunschwig, Pier Mottioli, Rembert Dodoens, Lobel, Pena, Orta, Porta, Hill, Estienne, Markham, Parkinson, Gerard, and Bauhin among many others.
