America: History and Life is a complete bibliographic reference to the history of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. The database comprises almost 400,000 bibliographic entries. This database covers over 2,000 journals published worldwide. In addition to covering all key English-language historical journals, coverage includes selected historical journals from major countries, state and local history journals, and a targeted selection of hundreds of journals in the social sciences and humanities. Over 90of the articles included are published in English-language journals. In addition to articles, each year America: History and Life includes approximately 6,000 citations of book and media reviews from a selection of over one hundred key journals in US and Canadian history and related fields, as well as citations to abstracts of dissertations published in these areas. ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials
ATLAS Full Text Plus is the full text version of the ATLA Religion Database (ATLA). This database is a collection of major religion and theology journals selected by some of the major religion scholars in the United States. Coverage of this database dates back to 1949.

The Bibliographie de Civilisation Medievale aims to provide a comprehensive, current bibliography of monographs worldwide and listings of miscellany volumes (conference proceedings, essay collections or Festschriften). It currently comprises 50,000 titles from 1958 to 2009; i.e. the whole of the relevant elements from the famous bibliography in the Cahiers de civilisation médiévale. Every reference has been fully classified by date, subject and location, and provides full bibliographical records.

The user can browse the alphabetical entries, or select from the Subjects index or the Names index. Searching options include using English or transliterated terms to query Full Text, Headwords (article entries), Keywords, bibliographies, or Contributors.

Index Islamicus

The Index Islamicus database indexes literature on Islam, the Middle East and the Muslim world. It is produced by an editorial team working at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, established to transmit knowledge about Islamic and Middle East studies, which have tradionally been part of the curriculum of SOAS. Records included in the database cover 1906 to the present.

Material cited in the Index Islamicus includes not only work written about the Middle East, but also about the other main Muslim areas of Asia and Africa, plus Muslim minorities elsewhere. Over 3,000 journals are monitored for inclusion in the database, together with conference proceedings, monographs, multi-authored works and book reviews. Journals and books are indexed down to the article and chapter level. (Updated annualy)
International Medieval Bibliography

The International Medieval Bibliography was founded in 1967 with the support of the Medieval Academy of America, with the aim of providing a comprehensive, current bibliography of articles in journals and miscellany volumes (conference proceedings, essay collections or Festschriften) worldwide.

The "International Medieval Institute", based at the University of Leeds, is responsible for producing the bibliography. A unique network of over 50 specialist contributors and teams throughout the world ensures regular coverage of periodicals and miscellanies published worldwide. They are supported by a distinguished international Editorial Board.

Features include:
* 300,000 records of articles, review articles, scholarly notes and similar literature on all aspects of medieval studies
* a comprehensive cataloguing and indexing system, using familiar, multilingual terminology defined by professional medievalists for medievalists

Mugen Project
New

The Mugen Project is a bibliographic database containing references to tens of thousands of Buddhist resources, ranging from film and audio recordings to academic books and articles to liturgical texts. The Project houses not only resources across a range of media, but also across an array of literary types, such as academic scholarship, popular studies from modern times, canonical texts representing the Buddha’s teachings, major treatises of Buddhist masters across time and place, the vernacular texts of local Buddhist traditions, and so on.

OAIster
OAIster is a union catalog of digital records that began at the University of Michigan, built by harvesting records using the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH). Today, OAIster is one of the world's largest aggregators of records, boasting more than 19 million items from more than 1,000 contributors. Records contain a digital object link allowing users access to the object in a single click.

Oxford Scholarship Online is a cross-searchable library containing the full text of important scholarly books from Oxford University Press. Oxford Scholarship Online includes both classic and newly-published works in the humanities and social sciences. Temple subscribes to titles in the Biology, Business, Classics, Economics, History, Law, Linguistics, Literature, Math, Music, Neuroscience, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Health, Religion, and Social Work subject-area collections.
Patrologia Latina
The Patrologia Latina Database is an electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's Patrologia Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, and the four volumes of indexes published between 1862 and 1865. The Patrologia Latina comprises the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. The database contains the complete Patrologia Latina, including all prefatory material, original texts, critical apparatus and indexes. Migne's column numbers, essential references for scholars, are included.
Proquest Dissertations & Theses

Previously known as Digital Dissertations, this is the definitive guide to more than 2 million doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Proquest Disseretations & Theses helps you identify more than 90 percent of the doctoral dissertations accepted each year in North America. The database also covers thousands of dissertations and theses from around the globe.

Each dissertation published since July 1980 includes a 350-word abstract written by the author. Master's theses published since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. Bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1861, and more than 55,000 new citations are added to the database every year. Full-text Temple University dissertations from as far back as the 1950's are included along with 24-page previews of thousands of other dissertations.

Proquest Dissertations & Theses @ Temple University is a subset of the larger database, including only dissertations and theses from Temple University.
