YWCA Philadelphia Branches

collage of images of girls in different YWCA functions

The Young Women's Christian Association was a staple of the Philadelphia community for over one hundred years.  The organization offered educational, recreational, and professional services to enrich the lives of women and their families.  The selection of records presented here document programming at various branches of the Philadelphia and Germantown YWCAs, Frankford, Kensington, Metropolitan, and Southwest Belmont.  Materials consist of programs, flyers, meeting minutes, reports, and photographs that document YWCA activities and services.

Researchers should note that these materials have been selected from much larger individual collections.  For access to the branch records of the Philadelphia YWCA's, please visit the Special Collections Research Center.
