The InterLibrary Loan Unit in Paley Library offers research, copying, and dissertation binding services.
Research
This service provides for the location and retrieval of research materials, including books, journal articles, microforms, and other formats. This service provides a great alternative for law firms, journalists, and any other in-depth researchers for whom time or direct-access to materials is problematic. Services include database searching, preparing bibliographies, and obituary searching. A 48-hour turn-around time is all that stands between you and the articles you need.
Copying
Patrons with extensive copying needs can avoid lines, change, copy cards, and trips to copy centers or other vendors by letting us take care of their copying needs. The unit is registered with the Copyright Clearance Center and allows patrons to avoid the risk of copyright violations. (Note: items deemed non-applicable under "fair-use" will incur additional fees to be paid to copyright owners.)
Binding of Dissertations & Theses
The InterLibrary Loan Unit will arrange for the binding of personal copies of dissertations and theses.
