Find Electronic Reserve Items

The Temple University Libraries electronic reserves (e-reserves) provide access to reserve materials for your courses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students can access materials whenever and wherever they wish, and they no longer have to wait for classmates to return items.

Accessing E-Reserve Materials
The Libraries provide access to e-reserve materials through Diamond, the Libraries' catalog. Simply click on the "Course Reserve" option and search by your instructor’s name or the course name/number. In the list of items on reserve for your course, those that are available electronically contain the phrase *ELECTRONIC COPY AVAILABLE*. Click on the desired title, then on the link that begins with the phrase "View or Print…"
On-Campus vs. Off-Campus
The Libraries' must limit access to e-reserve materials to current students, faculty, and staff. You can access e-reserves easily from on-campus. When off-campus, you will need to log in with your Temple Access Net account and password.

Note: Your instructor may have placed links to e-reserve items into a course on Blackboard or other course software. You may need to log in as above in order to access e-reserve materials.

Acrobat Reader
You must be using version 6.0 or later to access e-reserve items. Acrobat Reader 6.0 is available via free download from Adobe.

Printing
It is recommended that you print e-reserve items to a laser printer since the files tend to be quite large. If you do print to an inkjet printer, divide the print job into smaller parts and print only a few pages at a time so you do not overload the printer's memory.
