Directions

From North of Philadelphia

  • Take I-95 South to Allegheny Avenue (Exit 19)
  • Follow Allegheny Ave to Germantown Avenue (Right Turn)
  • Proceed on Germantown Avenue (North) to Ontario Street, 4 blocks, (Left Turn)
  • Drive one block, to Broad Street (Turn Right) drive one block to Tioga Street.
  • At the corner of Broad and Tioga Sts., the Ginsburg Library is located diagonally on the opposite corner in The Temple School of Medicine Building at Broad and Tioga Sts.
  • Temple Hospital is on the South side of Tioga Street and the Boyer Pavilion is on the North side of Tioga Street.

Alternative directions using I-676

  • From I-95 South going towards Philadelphia
  • Take Exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676). Note: left lane exit. I-676 West to Broad Street exit.
  • Follow I-676 approximately 1 mile to Central Phila. /Broad Street exit.
  • Take Broad Street exit (stay to left) turn left onto Broad Street.
  • Follow Broad Street, approximately 3 miles; go north past Temple University/Main Campus follow signs to Temple Hospital.
  • At Broad and Allegheny Streets the Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry will be on the right corner.
  • Proceed 4 blocks to Tioga Street.
  • At the corner of Broad and Tioga Sts., the Ginsburg Library is located diagonally on the opposite corner in The Temple School of Medicine Building at Broad and Tioga Sts.
  • Temple Hospital is on the South side of Tioga Street and the Boyer Pavilion is on the North side of Tioga Street.

From South of Philadelphia

  • Take I-95 North toward to Philadelphia.
  • Take Exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676). Note: left lane exit. I-676 West to Broad Street exit.
  • Follow I-676 directions as noted above.

From New Jersey:

  • From the New Jersey Turnpike
  • take Exit 4 to route 73 north. Approx. 1 mile
  • To Route 38 West.
  • Follow Rt. 38 for 51Ú2 miles to Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
  • Take I-676 West to Broad Street exit.
  • Follow I-676 directions as noted above.

Broad Street Subway

  • From Olney take the Broad Street Line to Erie Street station [either local or express trains] walk down Broad Street two blocks.
  • From South Philadelphia take the Broad Street Line at Paterson Street, (local train stops at Allegheny Street] and walk 3 blocks north to Tioga Street or take express train at Broad-Walnut/stop to Erie Street station, walk South 2 blocks.

SEPTA Regional High Speed Line (see schedule)

  • Norristown to/from Center City Philadelphia R6 line
  • NORTH PHILADELPHIA RRD STATION (BROAD ST AND GLENWOOD AV)
  • Walk north approximately 8 blocks or take C bus along Broad Street to HSC campus.
