Interlibrary Loan is a free service that obtains materials not available in the Temple University Libraries for eligible Temple University Health Sciences faculty, students, and staff through a system called ILLiad.
Types of Materials That You Can Request
- Book chapters
- Conference proceedings (If available in published format)
- Journal articles
- Theses and dissertations (If available for loan. Often these are available only in microform format)
Placing Interlibrary Loan Requests
Before submitting a request in ILLiad, please be sure to double check through the Diamond Catalog
and/or Journal Finder
to see if your item is already in the collection.
If you don't find them, then login to one of the ILLiad accounts to make your request:
ILLiad for Krausz Podiatry Library Patrons
NOTE: First time ILLIAD users will be prompted to fill out a one-time registration page.
Another method of obtaining books not owned by Temple University
is through a service called E-ZBorrow
. This service enables you to place requests directly. The books arrive at Paley Library usually within 4 working days, (you will receive an email notification of this), and are then sent, (usually within an additional 2 days) to the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library for you to pick up.
