Temple University Libraries, with faculty and administrative partners, seek to contribute to the global effort to transform the scholarly communications system. This site provides information to help create awareness about the issues referred to as the "scholarly communication crisis".
Planned activities include increasing awareness among faculty of the various issues that have an impact on scholarly endeavors, providing opportunities for dissemination of the scientific record without barriers, developing resources and services in support of authors, and exploring stable means of preserving our intellectual assets for present and future generations.
