Welcome to the Temple University Libraries!

It is my great pleasure to welcome you and encourage you to explore our increasingly rich electronic, print, and special collections. You will also discover an able library staff eager to work with you - in person as well as online through our many Ask A Librarian services.

Temple's libraries are undergoing an exciting renewal. In order to fully support Temple's teaching, research interests, and information needs, we have increased book purchases, purchased retrospective print and electronic collections, acquired resources to support new faculty research, subscribed to additional scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers, introduced a leisure reading collection, and licensed hundreds of new research databases. We hope you will suggest additional titles for purchase and encourage you to use our online recommendation form.

Our transformation continues as we strengthen and deepen our collections, continue refurbishing Paley Library on the main campus, and introduce new services. We have recently made our interlibrary loan online request service much easier to use, and are in the process of introducing TUlink, a technology enhancement to quickly and efficiently connect you to full-text articles from our research databases. I hope you will assist us by forwarding your suggestions for service improvements via our online form.

I urge you to take full advantage of our resources and services. We are ready to help you find the materials and information you need, and we hope the library will become one of your favorite destinations on campus. Consult our Subject Specialists about your research interests and needs as well as course-related library instruction.

I look forward to seeing you in our libraries.
