Tue, Feb 26, 2019 | 12:30 pm

Join us for an afternoon of art with David Jackson Ambrose and Michael Neff.

David Jackson Ambrose will read from his debut novel, State of the Nation. David spent his childhood dumpster diving for coverless paperback novels behind independent bookstores in West Chester, PA. He received his BA in Africana Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Writing Studies from St. Joseph’s University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Temple University. His short story, “Juxtapose,” was published in the 2014 edition of Bene Note magazine.

Michael Neff was born in West Philadelphia and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Cambridge University. He was a co-founder of the Crefeld School in Philadelphia. Through his activity, “Art for a School,” many of his paintings are in the collections of Philadelphia Schools and Libraries. He has taught Intellectual Heritage at Temple for many years.
