This workshop will introduce students to how to scrape and analyze data from Youtube, including comment threads, using content and network analysis. Students will be introduced to the theory behind web analysis, the tools for scraping Youtube videos and threads, and the user-friendly tools, such as Gephi and Voyant, for network and text analysis.
