Text Analysis with R

This workshop will introduce students to the R programming language, including the integrated development environment, R Studio, and a suite of packages and libraries for text mining. Students will learn to code with text as data with a focus on the Tidyverse. Students will learn how to organize text documents as data, how to import text into R, how to analyze text as matrices, and how to visualize textual analyses using R's graphing packages.
