Introduction to REDCap (Online)

Wed, May 13, 2020 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. We encourage you to register for this workshop. On the day of the workshop, use this link to connect via Zoom: https://temple.zoom.us/j/92980926091 You do not need a video camera or a microphone, but you will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

This workshop presents an overview of REDCap, (Research Electronic Data Capture). While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data (including 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, and HIPAA-compliant environments), it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for research studies and operations. In this workshop we will go over: creating a project, navigating REDCap, the data dictionary and codebook, creating and editing instruments and fields, data entry, and basic surveys.

It is recommended that you register for this workshop ahead of time so a REDCap account can be created for you, if you do not already have one.

This is part of a series of three workshops on REDCap. You can sign up for the others here:

REDCap Intermediate

REDCap Advanced
