American Anti-Vivisection Society Records
Founded in 1883, the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) was the first non-profit, animal advocacy and educational organization in the United States, and is dedicated to ending experimentation on animals in research, testing, and education.
A preliminary inventory of their records is available at the repository.
