Biographical Note

Judith Copithorne is best known for her concrete poetry and experimental writing in the 1960s and 1970s. She has published numerous books of text images and poetry.

Description of Collection

Nine original works titled "Moon Woman," "Believe the Silent Call," "Come Across," "The Lead of the Water Region," "We Are Empty," "Magic," World Tree," "Duration (Hixegram 321)," and "Reach This Place Where You No Longer Progress," with one print dated August 30, 1969. Works are pen and ink on paper, with one watercolor and ink on paper, mounted on black.
