This collection contains photographs and a few other materials concerning a plot of land sold for development in the 1950s. The 623 acres were located at the intersection of the Schuylkill Expressway and the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Valley Forge interchange. The acreage was originally known as the "Irwin Estate" and had been owned by Alexander D. Irwin who acquired the land in 1918.
