Library Search Roadmap

Based on feedback received from the university community, Temple University Libraries released an enhanced version of the Library Search on August 13th, 2018.

As part of this update, the following changes were introduced to the Library Search:
  • A new design approach to our main search, in which pre-filtered search results from different library resources and collections can be shown side-by-side
  • A new search interface for specific types of collections, including the Catalog and Articles Searches
  • Improved filtering options and relevancy for your search queries
  • Simpler buttons for accessing online resources, viewing item information, and requesting materials

Additional information about the current Library Search can be found in the Library Search FAQ's.

Work in Progress

Beyond the August release, the Libraries will be working on additional enhancements including new approaches to browsing and the recommendation of resources and services. As the library makes these changes, public release notes will be made available below.
