Description of Collection
Collection consists of correspondence received by Beatrice and Herbert Ernest from Refuseniks, Gregory Buyanovsky, Helen Siedel and the Levitas family sent from Israel regarding Boris Levitas; an audio recording of Refuseniks Inessa and Vitaly Rubin from October 3, 1975, recorded in Moscow; and synagogue newsletters from the Delaware County Jewish Community Center – Congregation Ner Tamid in Springfield, PA, photographs, newspapers clippings, and other printed materials related to the Soviet Jewry movement. A small amount of Hebrew and Russian can be found in some of the correspondence and other printed materials.
