H. P. Lovecraft was an American author of horror and science fiction stories.

Description of Collection

Letter from Lovecraft to writer and artist Clark Ashton Smith on the stationary of George W. Kirk, bookseller, and signed "H.P.L." The letter mentions Lovecraft's "The Red Hook Tale" (published as "The Horror at Red Hook") and "The Shunned House," as well as W. Paul Cook's magazine The Recluse, writer Frank Belknap Long, and Smith's own Sandalwood.
