Faculty Fellowship Program

Application Deadline: Extended to February 1, 2024

Jointly with participating colleges, Temple University Libraries will award fellowships for the next academic year to Temple faculty members. Applicants must outline a research or creative project involving the use of computational methods. Research and creative projects from every discipline are eligible. Faculty fellows will complete their project as part of the interdisciplinary community at the Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio (LCDSS).

This is a competitive award. LCDSS Faculty Fellows receive one course reduction for the academic year at their college, as well as help with project management, a dedicated research assistant, and a $1000 research fund from the library. Fellows will also meet regularly with Studio staff to discuss progress on their projects, and they meet monthly with the other faculty and graduate student fellows in the Studio. Only one award is available to any School or College.
