TUScholarShare is designed to meet the needs of the Temple scholarly community. We provide a variety of services to support you and your scholarship, and we will deposit your work on your behalf. You do not need to register an account/ login to contribute work to our collections. The services listed below are available to all Temple faculty, staff, and students.
You can deposit a work to TUScholarShare yourself by using our Quick Deposit Form. For guidance on how to fill out this form, visit our Help for Depositors page. When you submit the form, the file and descriptive information you provide are placed in a queue for review by TUScholarShare staff. As part of our review, we will include additional descriptive metadata, including author information, subjects, citation, and language.
If you have published a large number of works, you may place a CV Review Request. At your request, TUScholarShare staff will review your CV or a list of publications, determine copyright and permissions for every work, and deposit permitted materials to TUScholarShare on your behalf. In some cases, we may ask you to help locate alternative versions of an article, such as a pre-print or post-print. Depending on the number of publications and our current workload, this review process may take several weeks to complete.
Large Collections with Multiple Creators
TUScholarShare staff will assist departments, centers, labs, and other Temple-related groups with contributing content to TUScholarShare via batch deposit. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a consultation to discuss your collection’s specific needs and determine the best workflow for depositing your content. We will work with you to ensure the sustainability of your collection and provide ongoing support.
TUScholarShare accepts datasets and related materials (including code and visualizations) to support open data and open science, and to fulfill preservation and data sharing requirements. You can deposit through our Data Deposit Form and find help on the Data Deposit page. All data deposits require a completed ReadMe file to provide contextual information and allow for reuse, and you can use our ReadMe template if you do not have one. For assistance in making a data deposit, please contact Temple University Libraries Research Data Services (RDS) team at email@example.com to schedule a consultation.
