Request Materials from SCRC

To request SCRC materials for use in our reading room, you will need to create an SCRC Researcher Account and complete an online request form. Please also see “Registration and Security” for assistance with this process.

Our online tools include Library Search and our Finding Aids. We also have a large news clippings and photograph collection from the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin and Philadelphia Inquirer that you can request online for in-house use.

Please keep in mind that some of our materials are housed off-site and require at least two days advance notice for us to retrieve boxes for use in our reading room. Our staff will contact you if materials will not be ready by your preferred visit date.

Finally, while we are constantly striving to increase the discoverability of our materials, our website only covers a small portion of our actual collections and holdings—which is over 90,000 linear feet, many terabytes, and growing. If you don't find what you are looking for on our website, we encourage you to visit, call, or email us.
