Requirements for Non-Matriculated Students

Non-enrolled applicants must submit the External Application Form, including a personal statement of no more than 250 words, to register for courses in the Certificate program. They must also arrange for official transcripts for all coursework since high school, whether or not a degree was earned from the institution(s), to be sent to the CAC program administrator, Marianne Moll

Evidence of the award of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university with an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale must be shown. Additionally students not currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at Temple University may be asked to provide two letters of recommendation from persons in a position to evaluate the applicant’s academic ability and accomplishments.

Non-matriculated students may take up to 9 credits of coursework before applying to the graduate certificate program. When they complete 9 credits, they must declare their intention to complete the graduate certificate in Cultural Analytics by completing and submitting the "Non-Degree Seeking Student Request to Exceed 9 Credits of Graduate Coursework for Certificate Program," found in TUportal under the Tools tab within "University Forms".
