Librarians and subject matter experts can provide support for faculty to create and maintain researcher profiles in both internal and external profiling systems. Researcher profiles are important tools faculty can use in order to document their publications and scholarly activities.
The Faculty Profile Builder allows you to track your scholarly activities and is a collaborative partnership between the Libraries, Information Technology Services (ITS), and Faculty Affairs.
The Libraries can provide support in setting up the Publications module of your profile.
For more information, contact your subject librarian.
As you work to establish, develop, and maintain your scholarly identity across multiple platforms, consider streamlining the way you present your research online. Sign up for an ORCID iD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) and get a unique and persistent identifier to link together your publications, grants, personal website, social media, and any other profiles you have. Use this to distinguish yourself from other researchers and to ensure that your work is connected and recognized.
