Health Sciences Libraries Study Rooms

The Temple University Ginsburg Health Sciences Library is pleased to offer a number of both small and large group study rooms.

We ask that those using the group study rooms abide by the following guidelines:

  • Small study rooms will remain unlocked. Large rooms require staff to open them. Keys will not be provided.
  • Room Reservations are recommended
  • Room bookings are limited to one 3-hour reservation per patron, per day.
  • Each person is able to make one reservation daily, up to 72 hours in advance.
  • The Library is not responsible for personal property left in rooms.
  • Occupancy in each study room is limited to the number of chairs already in the room.  Please do not move/remove furniture from the rooms.
  • Rooms should be left clean and ready for the next patrons. This includes cleaning the whiteboards and picking up trash.
  • Conversations should be held at a reasonable level.
  • During busy exam periods, the larger study rooms (seating 6 or more) will be restricted for the use of groups containing 4 individuals or more. Individuals (groups of one) who wish to use a study room should select a smaller room (seating for 4).
