Urban Archives 50th Anniversary Celebration - Part II

October 20, 2017

Part I available here:

In 1967, Temple University’s Department of History established the Urban Archives Center to document the social, economic, and physical development of the Philadelphia metropolitan area from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. Fifty years later, as a part of the Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center, the archives continues to focus on preserving the records of organizations and related materials and serves as a research center for students, scholars, the media, and the general public—from the region, the country, and the world.
